You can reach the island of Elba by car where on arrival to Piombino Marittima, two different shipping companies (Toremar e Moby Lines) offer comfortable ferry services that during the tourist season navigate hourly,on a daily basis. In only one hour circa, the ferries cover the 10Km distance from the mainland arriving in a chioce of ports; Portoferraio, Porto Azzurro, Rio Marina. For a more rapid sollution, a Hydrofoil service operates from Piombino to Portoferraio (via Cavo) in only 35 mins. of navigation. This service is available to passengers without automobiles only.

From North:
Freeway A12 direction Genova-Livorno. Exit at Rosignano. Continue on the S.S Aurelia until exit Venturina - Isola d’Elba and from here continue to Piombino Marittima.

From North-Est:
Freeway A1 direction Bologna-Firenze-Pisa-Livorno, exit at Rosignano. Continue on the S.S Aurelia until exit Venturina-Isola d’Elba and from here continue to Piombino Marittima.

In alternative: take the s.g.c. Firenze-Pisa-Livorno, exit at Firenze Signa and continue on the S.S (super street) until the Collesalvetti exit. Re-enter the freeway and continue to Rosignano Marittimo and there, take the s.s to Venturina and therefore, from here continue to Piombino Marittima.

From South:
Freeway A12, direction Roma-Grosseto. S.S Aurelia exiting at Venturina-Isola d’Elba. Continue to Piombino Marittima.

By train you arrive at Piombino Marittima. At Campiglia you have to change the train-line Pisa–Rome, from here local trains or buses will take you to the port.

How to get to Hotel Villa Wanda

- From Portoferraio
It takes just over 10 minutes to get to Lido di Capoliveri from Portoferraio by car.
In the direction of Porto Azzurro, after approximately 8 km there is a junction for Lacona / Marina di Campo, carry straight towards Porto Azzurro. After 1 km you'll see our sign on the left, turn and after 100 metres you'll be at the hotel.

- From Porto Azzurro
Those arriving on Elba using the Toremar ferry service operating to Portoferraio, Rio Marina and Porto Azzuro can disembark at Porto Azzuro, just over 5 minutes' drive from the hotel.
Travelling beyond the crossroads leading to Capoliveri, the hotel is signposted on the right.
